Dolphin World offers a cruise around the visually spectacular and historical Bay of Gibraltar a
nd has the highest success rate in finding dolphins in
Europe. The Bay and Straits of Gibraltar are a natural breeding area for several types of dolphins and it is not uncommon to encounter mothers with their calves in pods ranging from 20 to 30, up to many hundreds – an incredible sight!
Our boat, the “Brixham Belle” offers passengers comfortable frontline seating in sun or shade together with toilet and bar facilities. Passengers will also be able to purchase souvenirs of their visit to Gibraltar and of their ‘dolphin experience’ on board.
The Bay and Straits of Gibraltar is home to the Common, Striped and Bottlenose dolphin, as well as the occasional turtle, flying fish and several species of whale. The Cruise will allow passengers to see these fascinating mammals in their natural environment without disturbing them.
The Cruise, lasting approximately 90 minutes, is complemented by an award-winning live commentary on dolphins and the history of Gibraltar. Passengers will enjoy learning about Admiral Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar, the Pillars of Hercules, the Rock’s vital role in WWII, famous visitors, famous weddings, modern day Gibraltar and much, much more!

PRIVATE CHARTERS
The Brixham Belle can be chartered by clients for corporate events, weddings, parties or any other celebration. Private Hire Rates for the Brixham Belle are as follows:
90 minute Dolphin World sailing: £16.00 per person (minimum payment for 60 pax required for exclusive sailing)
Extended Sailing: £200.00 per hour (over and above 90 minute sailing time)
Hire of boat on quayside: £100.00 per hour (minimum 3 hours)

Dolphin World can provide onboard catering for private charters as outlined below, however, we would be happy to discuss clients’ individual requirements.

DRINKS
The Brixham Belle has a fully fitted bar and offers a wide selection of drinks. We would be happy to run a tab for guests and invoice client for this together with other services.
The Mons Calpe Suite, located within the Cable Car Top Station complex, provides the most spectacular setting on the Rock for celebrations of all sorts – be it a wedding, a corporate function or a family celebration, the Cable Car will make your event truly memorable.The air-conditioned Suite can accommodate up to 120 guests depending on requirements and offers breathtaking 220° views of the Bay of Gibraltar and surrounding area; a birds eye view of Gibraltar Airport and Spain to the North; Southwards across the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa; Westwards of the City of Gibraltar and across the Bay to Algeciras; and the blue expanse of the Mediterranean and the beaches and cities of the Costa del Sol to the East.
Prices for the hire of the Mons Calpe Suite are as follows:
During normal working hours∗: £150.00 per 3 hour period
Before/After normal working hours: £75.00 per hour
The Cable Car fare will be charged at a nominal fee of £2.00 per person for the return journey during normal working hours. There will be a surcharge of £2.00 per person for the return portion of the journey if the event finishes after normal working hours.
CABLE CAR DINING
The Cable Car offers a selection of menus which are suitable for any type of event, however, our staff will be happy to discuss your requirements. Drinks can be purchased separately at the Mons Calpe Bar.
